Our Vision
The Epworth UMC Music Department is committed to the purpose of glorifying God thru music. Realizing that music is a powerful weapon in spiritual warfare, and that it is medicine to the body, mind, and soul, we commit to excellence in this area of ministry. It is our soul purpose to humbly lead others into God’s presence thru praise and worship in song. |

Volunteer Opportunities and Requirements:
|

|
|
| |
English Adult Choir and Spanish Adult Choir
* Must have a personal, born again relationship with Jesus Christ
* Must have attended Epworth
* Must be at least 15 years old
* Must complete a successful audition
* Must sing either soprano, alto, or tenor
* Must attend weekly rehearsals
* Must be able to sing in at least 3 services per month [Sunday Services or weekly service]
* Must be able to commit to at least 1 full year of ministry with the choir
* Must be committed to worshipping the Lord |

Epworth Male Chorus
* Must have a personal, born again relationship with Jesus Christ
* Must have attended Epworth
* Must be at least 13 years old
* Must complete a successful audition
* Must sing either 1st tenor, 2nd tenor, baritone, or bass
* Must attend weekly rehearsals
* Must be able to sing in at least 3 services per month [Sunday Services or weekly service]
* Must be able to commit to at least 1 full year of ministry with the choir
* Must be committed to worshipping the Lord |

Children's Choirs: (ages 4 - 12)
* Must attend Epworth on a regular basis.
* Must display an eagerness to sing and follow directions
* Must attend all required rehearsals
* Must be prepared to minister music every 5th Sunday
* Must be committed to worshipping the Lord |

How to Get Involved:
Pick up an Epworth UMC Volunteer Adult, Male Chorus, or Children's Choir application online or from the church office, complete it, return it, and someone will contact you by email or by phone. |

Epworth Male Chorus Rehearsal: Wednesday 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Epworth English Adult Choir rehearsal: Thursday 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Epworth Spanish Praise Singers Rehearsal: Friday 6:00 pm
Children's Choir Rehearsal: Friday 6:00-7:00 pm / Children and Youth Fellowship 7:00 - 8:00 pm
Mile High Chapter Choir Rehearsal: Every 4th Saturday of the month @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm |
