And God said
Let there be a woman
And I shall call her beautiful
Let there be a woman of
wonder and delight
A woman of intelligence
Mind as sharp as the sun’s rays
And let her skin be soft
Smooth as the water she bathes in
And God said
I will make me a woman
A woman of power and dignity
One who knows how to get things done
And does it right on the first try
And I will paint a smile
on her face
And that smile shall brighten up the day
And stars in her eyes
That will make the moon glow
And she shall not be
fragile
She’ll be strong
And able to defend herself
And this woman shall be
called special
For she’ll have the ability to make her own body shelter for
another human being
And that human being shall be called child
And that child shall call that woman mother
And God stood admiring
his creation
And saw that it was good
And He was glad

Mothers
Mothers will show
courage and be loved
Who will care for their mothers for eternity?
What does a mother do that is so special?
They love, care, nourish, bless, mend and remember those
that are for gotten
Mothers know what is happening in life
Mothers are the people of life that is needed the most.
Without mothers who would I be talking about in this poem?
A Mother will care for all who love them
Mothers are our hope and peace and without them we are still
kids.
Mothers are the ones who care for us in sickness
But mothers above all LOVE EACH CHILD as their own
By: Thomas Riggs
Thomas wrote this
